Both
What do you like to make?
Anything although small things like socks, gloves hats and dishcloths have instant appeal.
Do you have a favourite project?
Not really, loved making Barry's Cobblestone but then the Composed Mitts were a delight to make...I am loving making the Corset Tank Top at the moment but then I adored making my Swallowtail Shawl so I think the answer is no, I love all my knitting on the whole!
Do you have a favourite type of fiber or brand of yarn?
Right now my favourite yarn is any by Hand Maiden, something with drape and sheen seems to be exciting for me right now. I guess it's the silk in it!
Do you have a least favourite type of yarn?
Acrylic, synthetic yarn..
Do you do any other crafts?
I am just trying to make some stitch markers, I cook...anything really. I bought a scrap book to put our wedding bits into but I haven't got round to it yet.
Do you knit in public? If so where do you like knitting and what is your "portable" project?
Yes...although I've not quite managed to knit in the Doctors yet as the chairs are too close together! My portable project is anything that fits in my little bag, mostly socks though
What do you carry your "portable" knitting in?
I have a couple of Go Knit bags that I love and keep meaning to sew my own. It is a very simple design!
Are there any knitting gifts (book, toy, yarn, item, tool) that you have been lusting over?
Not really, I love anything Knitting orientated and am easily pleased

What is your favourite colour?
Pastels, mostly pink
What is your least favourite colour?
Orange
What scents/smells do you like? What don’t you like?
I am fussy with my smells, I wear J'Adore. I don't like smelly candles on the whole although Rose and Vanilla scented ones please me
How do you like to pamper yourself? (bubble bath, hand creams, massage, manicure)
I love hand cream and get through loads
What goodies to you like to eat? (chocolate, biscuits, sweets,crisps etc)
Organic White Chocolate, freeze dried fruits, raisins, nuts
Do you prefer tea or coffee while you knit? Any particular kind?
Fruit tea or decafeinated coffee
Do you listen to/watch anything while you knit? (TVshow-Along, movies, music, podcasts, audiobooks)
I have become addicted to the BBC iplayer and tend to watch programmes I have missed when I can't sleep at night. Usually rubbish ones though, you know, the programmes you want to watch but no one else does! lol
Part Three: About you, Living & Past-times
If you were a specific kind of yarn, which brand and kind of yarn would you be (and why)?
I think I would be a skein of the Natural Dye Studios Alpaca/Silk sock yarn. It is a bit funky but soft and squidgy to touch, just like me!

I grew up in Romsey, Hampshire
What is your favourite place in the UK?
Devon, where my daughter lives with her lovely family, I miss them so much....
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I think I would like to visit soemwhere like Barbados, to be on a beach with palm trees around would be ideal....

Photography, Tiffany stained glass
Part Four: The Theme
As part of this swap we are asking you to post (or link to) a picture or photograph you like.I just love the happiness in this photo...my Mum said 'I can't hold my hat and keep my tummy in!' and we all just had to laugh! This is me, Barry, my Mum, my sister and my brother!

Chocolate can induce migraine for me, but organic seems to be fine...

Hmmmm, I can't think of anything other than I love doing these swaps and really enjoy finding out about my partner
